RANDOM BLONDE LAW STUDENT

I'm a bad blogger, I know. I have been MIA whole summer, but I don't regret it, since this was the best summer of my life so far. I've been to many different places, seen many wonderful things, heard many amazing bands and met a bunch of interesting new people that made everything even more special.

So first there was Malta. After that I had a few days to relax, wash all the clothes and to pack them up again to go to Zagreb for a few days, to INmusic Festival. This was my first whole festival outside Slovenia. My favorites from all the bands we heard are: The Fratellis, Flogging Molly, Bombay Bicycle Club and of course, the best ones, Crystal Fighters. Actually, all the bands that we heard were amazing (with maybe one or two exceptions) but I don't want to turn this post into one long list.

When I got back I slept in my bed for a night and then packed my stuff again and headed to Šentviška Gora to Gora Rocka for 3 days (2 nights). Since (almost) all the bands that performed there have been together for at least 10 years (approximately), I felt like I was in high school again. I still don't know if this was a good or a bad thing, but if I sum it up, the weekend was crazy.

After that I had 3 weeks to work on my thesis, which I still haven't finished (yeah I know, the prolonging only makes it worse, but I have become a bad student, I guess). I have sent the parts that I have finished to my mentor and I'm still waiting for the answer and hoping everything is ok and that I will be able to graduate as soon as possible. In between all the writing I also found some time for fun stuff. Thanks to two awesome girls, I went to see/hear a band called TOY that was performing in Italy and we had a blast. I also ordered and received my own toy (haha), a longboard, and it's the best thing ever.

After those 3 (too) long weeks, I packed my bag again and went to the seaside, Camping Brioni (ex Puntižela) to be exact, a place that has been my summer home for around 15 years now. Great location, delicious food, cold drinks, fun people ... what else can a girl ask for. It was exhausting but so much fun.

Even though most of the people stayed in Puntižela, I had to move my ass again and go to Tolmin to Punk Rock Holiday. If you are following me for at least a year, you can remember that I already talked about this festival last year. Well this year was even better than last year. I knew more bands (preparations people, preparations!) and I met so many great people that I hope I will see again soon. My favorites (bands) this year: Lagwagon, Authority Zero, Templeton Pek, The Real McKenzies, The Toasters, Start at Zero, Real Life Version and of course, the winning award goes to Reel Big Fish (damn, I love ska).

When I finally got home, my aunt was celebrating her birthday, so that meant another two days of partying. And then my body gave up and I spent 3 days on the couch, drinking tea and pills. But now I'm okay. So let's get this party started again, right? ;)

As a proof that I'm not lying about everything, I made 3 videos: two are from festivals and are made out of short clips that I took while we were listening to certain bands (sorry, there is no video from Gora Rocka, because I didn't have my iPhone with me) and one is "about" Puntižela (also, just some random clips).

Ok, my existence has been proven and now I can go back to enjoying the rest of the summer. Keep your fingers crossed for my thesis and I hope you are having the best summer too.

These couple of weeks have been crazy. I feel like I have been running around, meeting people, doing random stuff all the time. Something was going on all the time and even when I took some time for myself to do stuff I have to do (like write my thesis for example) something usually came up and disturbed my peace.

I have been feeling like a (emotional and physical) wreck these last few days and I realised it's time to take a break from everything. From all the partying, all the coffees, everything and everybody. It's time that I focus on myself and finally do stuff I have to do and get my confused mind and body in order again. Hopefully, I will get on the right track fast. *fingers crossed*

Hejsan, hur är det? Bra? Jag är inte så bra eftersom jag har mycket saker att göra, men jag vill inte.

Ok, dovolj švedščine za ta post, a? Bistvo: ful mam dela, ampak se mi nič ne da delat. Nič novega ;) ko je treba resno začeti delati za šolo je vse ostalo toliko bolj zanimivo, da preprosto ne preostane nič časa za pisanje skupinskih projektov in esejev. Taki smo študentje. ;)

No, kot ste opazli, malo (precej) sem spremenila izgled bloga. Naveličala sem se rozastega punčkastega izgleda in izbrala nekaj bolj resnega in modernega. Upam, da vam je všeč, saj meni je zelo!

Sedaj pa nazaj na "dnevnik". V torek smo imeli še zadnja prava predavanja na pravni fakulteti pri predmetu Introduction to Swedish Law. Tokrat na meniju: družinsko ter mednarodno zasebno pravo. Oboje precej zabavno, še posebej prvi del, družinsko pravo. Profesorju je bilo zabavno dejstvo, da je v nekaterih drugih evropskih državah potrebno bivšemu zakoncu v določenih primerih plačevati preživnino po ločitvi. Na Švedskem tega seveda nimajo (poleg nekaterih drugih institutov, ki so pri nas običajni). Torkovo popoldne in večer sem preživela za računalnikom ob pisanju skupinskega projekta o švedskih ustavnih institutih. Boooooring. But had to be done.

Z isto temo sem se ukvarjala tudi v sredo dopoldne, nekaj pred poldne pa sem imela govorilne ure pri glavni profesorici pri predmetu ItSL, da mi je pokomentirala uvod v esej. Pridna Kaja je dobila same pohvale. Zdaj me je prav malo strah, da ne bo zadovoljna s celotnim esejem, glede na to kake hvale sem prejela ob uvodu, ki je bil seveda čisto navaden in napisan precej na hitro. No ja, upam da bo zabavna tema. In da se bom kmalu spravila resno pisat (v torek popoldne, obljubim.) Po tem sem si privoščila eno kavo v Starbucksu in testirala svojo švedščino ter razumevanje mojega imena. Recimo da je natakarici skoraj uspelo prav napisat Kaja. But at least she tried. Tako kot se jaz vedno trudim govoriti švedsko in me čisto vedno vprašajo kaj novega in nerazumljivega in se moram tako izdati in povedati, da na žalost pa ne govorim toliko švedsko, da bi lahko vrgla celo debato z njo. Ko sem prišla domov sem se še malo ubadala s skupinskim projektom, nato pa sem se naštimala za večerjo pri Masamiju in Garryu (Mihov šef). Prvič v življenju sem jedla suši. Njama! Super je bil. Definitivno ga bom še velikokrat v prihodnosti jedla, če bo seveda priložnost. Celoten večer je bil zelo zabaven in prijeten. :)

Četrtek: jutranja utrujenost in delo za šolo. Zvečer pa (končno) žur s sošolkami in sošolci (pravniki). Bilo je zelo zabavno, saj smo prvič nekaj spili skupaj in si tako veliko več povedali kot če ne. Še posebej zato, ker smo igrali "Never have I ever" in tako izvedeli cel kup "skrivnosti" en o drugem (tudi take, ki jih resno nisem hotela slišat). Po par urah druženja v sobi od enega od sošolcem smo se odpravili proti Lunds Nation, kjer je bil Penthouse Club, torej v najvišjem nadstropju + na terasi. Fancy stuff, yes. ;) fajn smo se naplesali, podružili in nasmejali. Naslednji dan smo bili pa čisto vsi mačkasti, seveda.

No pa še petek. Seveda se je bilo najprej treba naspat po zelo naporni noči. Popoldne sem morala v Lund, saj smo se dobila z Glennom in Sarah, da smo naredili dejansko nekaj skupinskega za skupinski projekt. Nato pa nazaj domov še malo počivat. Zvečer pa smo imeli "poslovilno" večerjo za Miha, saj je danes na vse zgodaj odletel proti Ameriki. Na večerjo sta prišla še Mihova sodelavca, Aurelien in Steve, tako da je bilo še bolj družabno.

Ok, mislim da mi je zdaj dokončno zmanjkalo izgovorov za učenje oziroma drugo delo za šolo in se moram sedaj, ko je blog napisan, res spravit na delo. Joj joj, ni volje.
