Woah! Se pa dolgo nismo nič slišali. Jah, ni bilo ravno časa, glede na to, da sem se cel teden učila, saj sem v četrtek imela še zadnjo obveznost v prvi polovici semestra, izpit iz Uvoda v švedsko pravo. Če koga zanima, je šlo baje super, tako da sem se končno rešla velikega zalogaja skrbi. In seveda se je že v četrtek zvečer začelo prvo žuranje: Halloween Party. Ker je to bil moj prvi Halloween sem se odločila, da bom poskusila biti čim bolj grozna, tako da sem se naštimala v zombija. In zdi se mi, da mi je odprava zelo dobro uspela. Tudi žur ni bil slab, smo se fajn naplesali.

Woah! Long time no hear.There wasn't a lot of time to write, since I had to study for my Introduction to Swedish Law oral exam which I had on Thursday. The professor said it was excellent, so I got rid of a big pile of worries on Thursday midday. And then went straight to partying. First stop: Halloween Party. Since this was my first Halloween ever, I decided to dress up as something really scary, so I went as a zombie. I think I did great. And also the party was pretty great and we danced a lot and stuff, so it was a fun night.

V petek me je čakalo ponovno barvanje las. Tokrat sem malo hotela eksperimentirat in narediti roza konice, ampak sem se malo bala, da bom na koncu preveč roza, tako da sem barvo bolj malo časa pustila na laseh in se je treba sedaj fajn potrudit, da vidiš roza odtenek v laseh, ampak meni je tudi tako všeč. Zvečer sem z Metko in Mihom šla na Internations event. Bistvo eventa je to, da se spoznavaš z drugimi tujci, ki delajo v Malmotu in okolici. Večinoma sem spoznala ljudi, ki delajo v ESSju (podjetje, kjer dela tudi Miha), in nisem ravno nekaj zelo minglala, ampak je bilo tako še bolje, saj sem vsaj dobro spoznala kar nekaj zelo zabavnih ljudi.

On Friday I had to dye my hair again and I wanted to experiment a little and make pinkish ends, but I was too afraid to end with really bright pink hair in the end, so I left the dye on my hair for a really short time so there is only a hint of pink in my ends now, but you can still see it. I really like it. In the evening I went to a Internations event with Metka and Miha. The point of the event is to hang out with other internationals working in Malmö and Skåne. I mostly hung out with girls from ESS (the company where Miha works) and didn't really mingle with the rest of the people, but it was still really nice, cause the people I met were (are) really fun.

Sobota. Počitek dopoldne, od dvanajstih dalje pa peka, kuhanje, pokušavanje, opazovanje, na hitro: priprava na večerno praznovanje Mihovega rojstnega dneva. Po sedmih so začeli prihajati različni Mihovi kolegi, prijatelji, znanci, sodelavci itd. in skupaj smo žurali do skoraj 5ih zjutraj. Bogi sosedje (ena "nonica" je celo klicala in se pritoževala malo, ampak to je bilo to na srečo). Super mega house party. Posledično je bilo treba danes celo stanovanje spucat. Ampak ja, se je treba kdaj žrtvovat za dober žur.

Saturday. A lazy morning and a working afternoon. Baking, cooking, trying everything, watching, shortly: preparing for Miha's birthday party in the evening. After 7PM everybody started showing up, Miha's friends, co-workers, plus-ones, etc. and we partied together until almost 5AM. Poor neighbours (an old lady actually called Miha and complained a little, but that was is luckily). Amazing house party. Consequently, the apartment was really dirty and had to be cleaned today. But yeah, sometimes you just have to sacrifice for a good party.

To pa je to. Jutri začnem z novim predmetom, EC Competition and Procedure Law. Upam, da bo zabavno. V četrtek pa prideta mama in tata za vikend na obisk semkaj, tako da bo spet zabavno.

That's all. Tomorrow I start with a new course, EC Competition and Procedure Law. I hope it's going to be fun. And on Thursday our parents are coming to visit us here for the weekend, so there will be something going on again.

PERFECT

Govorim o koncertu v petek. Super vzdušje. Super družba. Super glasba. Drugega pa ne potrebujem. Uspelo mi je narediti nekaj slik, se slikati s pevcem ter celo posneti nekaj kratkih videotov, ki sem jih na hitro vrgla v en video, ki si ga lahko ogledate spodaj.

I am talking about the concert on Friday. Great atmosphere. Great company. Great music. That's all I need. I managed to take some photos, get a photo with the singer and also take some short videos, which I quickly edited together into one longer video, that you can watch beneath.

Na hitro moram še nekaj dodati. Končno mi je uspelo porihtati, da sem dostopna tudi na Facebooku in da mi lahko sledite na različne možne načine (preko maila, Bloglovina ali Google Friend Connect - vse je na desni). Poleg tega pa tudi objavljam slike na Instagramu in Flickrju, iščem inspiracijo na Tumblrju ter WeHeartIt, ter beležim glasbo, ki jo poslušam na Last.FM. CHEAT DAY

Hejhej! Kako kaj na to jesensko nedeljo? Sedaj, ko sem opravila svoj jutrani ritual (zajtrk, bloglovin, kava), sem rekla, da moram napisat kaj na blog. Nekaj na hitro, saj me knjiga Swedish Legal System že čaka, odprta na delovno pravo, ki je na meniju to dopoldne.

Hejhej! How are you on this autumn Sunday? Now, that I did my morning ritual (breakfast, bloglovin, coffee), I decided to write something on my blog. Someting short, because the book Swedish Legal System is already waiting for me, opened on the Labour Law chapter, which is on the menu this morning,

Povzetek tedna: V ponedeljek sem šla na krajši sprehod po Malmötu, saj sem si morala kupit karto za petkov koncert. Poleg tega, da sem šla v Folk å Rock, ki je založen s kupom CDjev in plošč in kjer sem kupla karto, sem se še malo sprehodila po drugih trgovinah, tako da sem malo spraznila denarnico. V torek smo imeli na faksu opozicije esejev (prebrat in komentirat smo morali esej od nekoga drugega) in če sklepam po komentarjih mojega nasprotnika IN profesorice, mi ni treba skrbeti glede tega, kakšen je moj esej. Naj bi bil super. V torek sem tudi dobila rezultate izpita iz švedščine, ki so bili super po mojem mnenju. Drugače pa samo učenje in dobra zdrava hrana.

Summary of the week: On Monday I went for a short walk in Malmö, because I had to buy the ticket for the concert on Friday. I went to Folk å Rock, filled with CDs and LPs, where I bought the ticket, and in some other shops and spend a little money. On Tuesday we had to present our oppositions (we had to read and comment on a essay from someone else from the course group). Judging by all the comments, my essay is ok, so I don't have to worry about it. I also found out that I passed my Swedish exam, yay! Otherwise, the week was full of studying and good healthy food.

The Royal Concept koncert: Ne bom izgubljala besed. Koncert je bil SUPER. Točno to kar mi je primanjkovalo zadnje čase (dobra glasba v živo). Tudi ljudi je bilo ravno prav in nihče se ni gužval kaj preveč, kot je to navada pri nas. Edina slaba stvar je bila ta, da je koncert ob 10ih že končal (kljub temu, da je bila tudi predskupina, ki pa je začela že ob 8ih in igrala samo pol ure). Ampak na srečo smo se po koncertu preselili v bližnji bar/diner/karkoli, in se še tam malo podružli.

The Royal Concept concert: I won't say much. The concert was AMAZING! Exactly what I was missing, great live music. There weren't too much people, which was good. The only bad thing was that the concert already ended at 10PM. But luckily we moved to another bar/diner/whatever afterwards and hung out a little bit more.

No Junk Food Challenge: Na žalost, ni uspel. Pa ne da ne bi zdržala, ker mi je manjkalo sladkega ali mastnega, ampak, v petek, ko smo bili v baru, je nekdo prinesel bombone na mizo, in jaz sem seveda popolnoma pozabila na challenge in navalila na njih. Po enih 10ih nepravih M&Mih, sem se spomnila na challenge in se hitro ustavila. Seveda potem nisem pojedla nobenega več, ampak ja, challenge je bil neuspešen. In seveda sem si včeraj privoščila cheat day, tako da sem za kosilo pojedla nekaj belega kruha in za večerjo uživala ob vroči čokoladi in Metkinem pomarančnem pecivu. TODA, ker mi je bil challenge zelo všeč, ker sem bila zelo ponosna nase, da se sploh ni bilo težko odpovedat vseh mogoči "nezdravi" hrani čez teden, sem se odločila, da bom kar vztrajala pri tem. Mogoče ne 7 dni od danes dalje, ampak bom vzela Metkino idejo o tem, da lahko sladko in nezdravo ješ samo za vikend (jaz bom dala še dodatno omejitev in to je: samo en dan v vikendu). Seveda pa, če bom zdržala celih 7 dni (ali več) brez nezdrave hrane, bom štela challenge kot opravljen. Kot običajno, sem hrano slikala, tokrat še več, saj je bila to nekakšna motivacija zame, ker sem na koncu dneva lahko točno videla, kaj sem pojedla.

No Junk Food Challenge: Unfortunatelly, I failed. But not because I missed the junk food and had to had it. No. The reason is that I forgot that I am doing the challenge and when one guy brought a bunch of candy on a table in the bar after the concert, I started eating them and it was only after let's say 10 fake M&M's that I remembered about the challenge. I of course stopped eating them then, but the challenge was failed. And then I made yesterday a cheat day, so I ate some white bread for lunch and some hot chocolate and Metka's orange "cake" for dinner. BUT, because I really liked the challenge and was really proud of myself cause it wasn't that hard to give up the "unhealthy" food, I decided to still stick to it. Maybe not for 7 days starting from today, but I am gonna try Metka's idea about eating sweets and junk food only on weekend (I am gonna limit it even more, only 1 day in the weekend). And of course, if I won't eat any junk food for 7 days straight, I will count the challenge as done. As usually, I took a lot of photos of my food, which was actually a motivation, because I could see everything I ate at the end of the day.

THE ROYAL CONCEPT

Končno sem se odločila, da grem na en koncert tukaj. In ko sem odkrila, da v petek 20 minut peš proč od stanovanja (KB, Malmö) igrajo The Royal Concept, sem rekla: to pa moram it! Hitro sem kupila karto in zdaj komaj čakam jutrišni večer.

I have finally decided to go to a concert here. When I found out that The Royal Concept is playing on Friday in a club 20 minutes of walking away from my apartment (KB, Malmö), I said I have to go! I bought the ticket right away and now I'm waiting for tomorrow night all excited.

Kdo so The Royal Concept? Gre za Švedski bend, ki sem ga odkrila manj kot mesec nazaj. Kaj več ne bom govorila, ampak samo delila glasbo z vami.

Who are The Royal Concept? They are a Swedish band, which I discovered less than a month ago. No more talking about them, I am just gonna share the music with you.

CHEESECAKE TIME

Hej. Ker res nimam več volje za učenje (zelo naporno je "cel dan" brat knjigo o švedskem pravu v angleščini) in se mi zdi, kot da mi bo glava vsak čas eksplodirala, sem se odločila, da raje naredim kaj bolj zabavnega. In to je: končno objavim recept za mojo odlično in super enostavno skutino torto.

Tokrat sem torto delala že v tretje, in se mi je zdelo, da je čas, da recept malo priredim in jo naredim malo po svoje, kar se je izkazalo kot zelo dobra odločitev. Recept sem dobila tukaj: Okusno.je in čez poletje sem jo naredila dvakrat (mislim, da sem takrat tudi govorila o tem).

Že takrat se mi je zdela sadna obloga oziroma plast s sadjem in škrobom povsem nepotrebna, zato sem se jo odločila sedaj izpustiti in na vrh dati samo mešane gozdne sadeže z želatino. Pametna odločitev. Ne samo da je torta izgledala zelo umetniško, tudi veliko bolj okusna je bila po mojem mnenju. Verjetno tudi zaradi drugačnih sestavin, ki sem jih uporabila, saj je recimo maslo tukaj bolj slano kot doma in podobno. Aja, pa še to, torto pripravimo brez pečenja, kar je zelo praktično, še posebej za tople poletne dni (no, tega tukaj nimam več). Torej, gremo k mojemu prirejenemu receptu.

Sestavine

Podlaga:
160g digestive piškotov (doma sem uporabila petit beurre piškote, ki pa so postali na koncu pretrdi in se je torto težko rezalo, tako da priporočam digestive piškote)
125g masla

Krema:
400g sirnega namaza 
300g (tokrat sem uporabila samo 250g) pasirane skute 
100g sladkorja 
1 limona 
6 lističev želatine 
250ml sladke smetane 
1 žlica sladkorja v prahu (tokrat sem uporabila kar navadnega) 

Obloga:
250g zamrznenih mešanih goznih sadežev 
2 lističa želatine 
100ml vode (mogoče več, po občutku) 
Sladkor po okusu 

Postopek
Najprej stopimo maslo in počakamo, da se nekoliko ohladi. Ta čas zdrobimo oziroma zmeljemo piškote ter pripravimo model za torto (na dno sem vedno dala peki papir, da se je torto lažje rezalo in streglo). Zdrobljene piškote zmešamo z ohlajenim stopljenim maslom in testo dobro pregnetemo. Nato z njim obložimo dno tortnega modela. Testo damo ta čas ko delamo kremo v hladilnik. 

Želatino namočimo v hladni vodi (10 minut, lahko tudi malo več). Limono operemo, naribamo lupinico, nato pa stisnemo sok iz cele limone. V skledi zmešamo sirni namaz, skuto, sladkor in naribano limono v gladko zmes. Limonin sok v manjši kozici segrejemo in v njem raztopimo dobro ožeto želatino (6 lističev) nato pa primešamo temu še tri žlice skutne mase. To zmes primešamo k preostali skutni masi. Sladko smetano čvrto stepemo s sladkorjem v prahu in jo z metlico previdno zmešamo v skutno maso (mimogrede, tokrat sem vse delala na roke z metlico, brez mešalnika - mogoče je tudi to pripomoglo k okusnosti torte). Celotno skutno maso nato naložimo na testo v modelu. 

Zmrznjeno sadje damo v kozico, dodamo vodo ter sladkor po želji in počakamo, da se vse lepo segreje. Ko se mešanica segreje, v njej raztopimo želatino (2 lističa). Počakamo da se nekoliko ohladi, nato pa zmes polijemo po skutini mešanici v modelu. To pa je to. Torto damo čez noč v hladilnik (najbrž je tudi par ur dovolj, ampak slučajno je bilo tokrat tako, da je celo noč počivala) in naslednji dan uživamo v božanski skutini torti.

Miha je ravno danes pojedel še zadnji kos torte. Presenetljivo je zdržala vse od sobote, vendar je razlog za to zgolj dejstvo, da delam jaz moj 7 dnevni no junk food challenge in preprosto ne smem jest torte. Sem se je pa v soboto in nedeljo fajn najedla, tako da ni bilo potem prevelike želje. Torta je bila pohvaljena tudi s strani Filipinke in Francoza (Hane in Ivana), ki sta bila deležna tudi enega kosa. Pa Metka jo je tudi pohvalila seveda. No, morate probat, potem pa bodo tudi vas hvalili. ;)

Hej. I really don't feel like studying anymore (it is really exhausting to read an English book about Swedish law "whole day") and I feel like my head is going to explode any second, so I decided to do something more fun. This is: share my amazing cheesecake recipe with you. It was my third time doing the cake, so I decided to do my own variation of the recipe, which turned out to be a really great idea. I got the recipe on a Slovenian recipe page (Okusno.je) and tried it twice in the summer.

If you follow the original recipe you have to do a fruit coating with starch on top, which I though was kind of strange, so I decided to skip it this time. I just mixed different berries with some gelatin for the top of the cake. Good decision. The cake look so artistic and it tasted much better in my opinion as the two times before. Maybe also because of the different ingredients I used here (butter is saltier, etc.). Oh yeah, also, there is no baking needed for making the cheesecake, so it is very useful for hot summer days (no problem with that here anyway) and also for students without ovens in their rooms. Ok, let's go to the (modified) recipe.

Ingredients

Basis: 
160g of Digestive Cookies (at home I used butter cookies, which were too hard in the end and it wasn't easy to cut them, so I recommend the digestive cookies) 
125g of Butter

Cream: 
400g of Cream Cheese 
300g (I actually used 250g) of Cottage Cheese 
100g of Sugar 
1 Lemon 
6 leaves of Gelatin 
250ml of Whipping Cream 
1 tablespoon of Powdered Sugar (or regular one, which I used this time) 

Coating: 
250g of Frozen Mixed Berries 
2 leaves of Gelatin 
100ml of Water (maybe more, follow your instinct) 
Sugar (as much as you wish) 

Procedure
Melt the butter and wait a little for it to cool down. While waiting we crush the cookies and prepare the cake model (put some baking paper on the bottom so it will be easier to cut and serve the cake). Mix the cookie crumbles with the melted butter, knead the mixture and put in in the bottom of the cake model. Put everything in the fridge while making the cream. 

Put the gelatin leaves in cold water to soak (10 minutes, it can be a little bit more). Wash the lemon, grate the lemon zest and squeeze the juice from the whole lemon. In a bowl mix the cream cheese, cottage cheese, sugar and the lemon zest in a smooth mixture. Warm up the lemon juice in a small saucepan and melt the dried up gelatin (6 leaves) in it, add 3 tablespoons of cream and mix it. Add this mixture to the rest of the cream mixture. Whip the whipping cream with the sugar good and add it carefully with a whipping tool to the rest of the mixture (I didn't use any machines, just my hands and the whipping tool). Put the whole mixture in the cake model on top of the basis. 

Put the frozen berries in a saucepan and warm them up. Add water and sugar (if you want) and wait so everything is warm. Then melt the dried up gelatin (2 leaves) in it. Wait for it to cool down a little and then pour it on top of the cheese cream. That's all. Put the cake in the fridge over night (or for a few hours) and enjoy the delicious no-bake cheesecake the next day. 

My brother just ate the last piece of the cake today. Everybody complemented it. Just try it and enjoy the compliments (and of course the cake). ;)
